American. Circa 1930. Of walnut. Each of tub-back form. The upholstered back and seat flanked by curving carms supported by posts inlaid with three 'speed lines', the back inlaid with two sets of three continuous horizontal lines. The seat above the conforming stepped frieze, the whole raised on four tapering legs, each inlaid with three lines, the rear legs of sabre form.
