The Second Annual Wild Bird Fund Gala, Hosted At Carlton Hobbs

April 17 2013, 4:43pm

On Thursday, April 4th 2013, Carlton Hobbs hosted the second annual Wild Bird Fund gala at the Virginia “Birdie” Vanderbilt Mansion here at 60 East 93rd Street. The night was a great success for the Wild Bird Fund and an exciting event that finely utilized our beautiful space. Between Dzul Dance’s performance in our Marble Room, a silent auction in our Blass room, and visiting wild life in the Bibliothèque, guests were treated with entertainment among a brilliant setting everywhere they turned. Our North 2 Gallery served as a lecture hall where gala honoree Helen Hays was recognized for her work on Great Gull Island and animal advocate and author Jonathan Balcombe lectured on animal behavior.
